Yesterday's #WEverb11 prompt was RIPPLE. It's not surprising that the ripples I see in my year seem to be like books tossed into the lake that is my life, creating wavy rings overlapping one another. This post lists my year’s books and their waves through my 2011. What created a ripple in your year?
On a Christmas afternoon a few years ago, I remember noticing my gray-haired grandparents sitting quietly in the center of the room, contently observing the noisy holiday chaos. This year, my family will celebrate its first Christmas without Gramps.
The Reverb11* prompt I'm using today is Sunday's from Yoga Freedom: Gracias (Thanks). Write a thank you note or poem to someone who impacted your life in 2011. With my own spin on this instruction, this post is an ABC list of what I appreciate from the past year. What's on your list?
For #Resound11 Prompt09 Best Photo, I'm posting a photo collage featuring snapshots of my two daughters through the spring and summer of 2011. What's your best photo of 2011?
Today's Reverb11 prompt comes from Yoga Freedom's list: "Tranquilo (Calm). Sometimes the most beautiful, memorable moments are also the quietest." The quiet, beautiful moment I share here features a minute-long iPhone video of a sunny lake. (Ahh, summer in northern Minnesota ... sigh.) What quiet, beautiful moment did you experience in 2011?
