This month I'm joining more than 1,000 others in Chantelle's February Photo Challenge. Out of sheer convenience and laziness, I shoot with my iPhone and post my images on Instagram (username: learnexploreshare). There and on twitter, you can follow along with the hashtag #FEBphotoaday.

Why participate in a photo challenge?

The main reason I'm playing along is for the fun of it. It's a simple challenge, sort of a scavenger hunt. It's interesting to look at my life from a different perspective as I seek out a scene or a prop that might fit the daily challenge. I also like the community aspect of this Photo a Day challenge; I enjoy seeing others' images and interacting via comments on Instagram.
