This artist trading card wasn't looking good, so I painted over it and added a bird with water soluble wax pastels for my bird-a-week challenge.
Last weekend, red-winged blackbirds seemed to be everywhere, so I sketched one today for my 52 Birds project.
This time of year, I love to make the rounds through our yard to see how the flower blossoms are progressing. Taking time to walk through the yard and to smell the roses before they fade also reminds me to live in the moment.
