I believe that each of us has the ability to create space and time for joy in our lives, and
that we each have a unique set of activities (heart ventures) that brings us joy.
I believe that by honoring what brings us joy we can change the world.
I believe honoring our joy through hobbies or side projects or self-care brings just as much meaning to life as does working in a joy-centered job or career.
I believe that mindfulness, mapping and community are vital ingredients for living a meaningful life.
I believe living a joy-filled life is possible for everyone …
and to that end,
I want to help people discover what brings them joy by sharing guideposts and tools that work;
I want to help people discover and create individualized joyful living practices that they can integrate into their daily lives;
I want to use my heart ventures to help others expand time and space for their own joy.
I know the work of self-exploration can be difficult and that the work of discovering what brings me joy has been so worth it—for me personally and for the people with whom I share my life.
I know that joy and gratitude and meaning intertwine to make a heart-explodingly beautiful web.
I know we all need tune-ups to find our way back to our heart’s true path, and I know that rest and reflection and mapping and community all serve as arrows to point the way.
I know that when I honor what brings me joy, I feel richer and more fulfilled and that when I honor what brings me joy, I have more to offer as a parent, spouse, friend and community member because my heart is full.
I know one size does not fit all and it’s important for each of us to explore and discover an individualized set of directions that works.
